Hulled sunflower seeds contain up to 60% oil which, on the average, is 88% unsaturated. Natural sunflower seed oil, cold-pressed and unrefined has a light yellow to rich golden color, depending on the seed, and tastes pleasant and nutty. It is also rich in vitamin E. Slight cloudiness of unrefined sunflower seed oil is a sign of high quality. Use Flora Sunflower Oil cold in salad dressings and mayonnaise. It can also be used for light stir-frying, sautéing and baking.
Flora Sunflower Oil contains: 64% polyunsaturated Linoleic acid (omega- 6), 21% monounsaturated Oleic acid (omega-9), 12% saturated fatty acids.

These oils are then bottled in non-reactive dark brown glass bottles to prevent deterioration from light, and are stamped for freshness. As an additional protective measure, we use a nitrogen flush to ensure oxidation cannot occur, and that top quality is maintained.
