This remedy is a natural combination of homeopathic biochemic tissue salts useful in the relief of symptoms of minor throat ailments, often with a white coated tongue. Tissue K works with no side effects. Ferrum Phos, Kali Mur and Kali Phos, in combination, are useful in alleviating sore throat symptoms. Inflammation, burning pain, painful swallowing, hoarseness and a sore red throat are all indications for the tissue remedies included in the combination remedy Tissue K for Throat.
Ferrum Phos for the symptoms of red, hot inflamed throat. Kali Mur for the symptoms of swollen, sore throat, often worse when swallowing. Kali Phos for the symptoms of sore, swollen throat and often a white, coated tongue.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Adults & children over 6 years of age: 4 tablets.
Children (ages 1 to 6): 2 tablets.
Dissolve under tongue 3 times a day. Use more frequently (every 15 mins. for 8 doses) with acute conditions.
Warnings: As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a licensed health care professional before using this product. Discontinue use if diarrhea is accompanied by a high fever (over 101?) contact a licensed health care professional. Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat accompanied by high fever, nausea and vomiting may be serious. Consult a doctor promptly. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. If symptoms persist after 7 days or worsen, consult a licensed health care professional. Do not use if imprinted tamper band is broken or missing.

What Is Homeopathy?

How do you take Hyland's Homeopathic medicines?

Are these herbal products?
No, these are not herbs, which use a larger quantity of plant material per dose. Homeopathic medicines use a minute dose of plant or mineral substance to address symptoms. I am lactose intolerant. Can I take these products?
People who are lactose intolerant have not yet developed the enzymes to digest lactose. Our products contain about 64 milligrams of lactose (the sugar from cow's milk-no protein is used) per tablet. While everyone is different, most lactose intolerant individuals would need to ingest 5000 mg of lactose before they experience symptoms of intolerance. With this large margin of safety, there is rarely a problem with our products when being used as directed on the label. If your physician has determined that you are specifically "Allergic to Lactose", you should avoid our tablets. If you are very concerned, seek the advice of a licensed health care professional before using this product.
Do these tablets expire?
Our tablets do not expire. We don't put expiration dates on the products, as they have been exempted from expiration dating guidelines by the FDA (CFR 211.137) The numbers that are imprinted on the edge of the labels are lot numbers - so we know exactly when the product was produced. We can track any product we made using that number.
