Insect Bites - 1 bottle, (Liddell)

How It Works
Insect Bites is a combination of remedies carefully designed to alleviate immediate symptoms and to work at a deeper level, helping to remedy the ill effects of insect bites.
  • Apis Mellifica (Honeybee) - for swelling and soreness due to bee stings, and for edema of the skin and mucous membranes
  • Grindelia (Gum Plant) - for itching rash due to contact with poison oak and other skin irritants
  • Hypericum Perforatum (St. John's Wort) - for nerve pain due to injury, and for pain due to insect bites
  • Ledum Palustre (Marsh Tea) - for skin eruptions, skin discoloration and puncture wounds due to insect bites
  • Arnica Montana (Leopard's Bane) - acts as a natural anti-inflammatory agent, treats septic conditions and prevents pus-associated infections from occurring
  • Conium Maculatum (Poison Hemlock) - for respiratory distress due to poisoning, and helps slow the progress of the poison agents
  • Histaminum Hydrochloricum (Histamine Hydrochloride) - acts as a natural antihistamine agent
  • Calendula Officinalis (Marigold) - to protect against the degeneration and putrefaction of tissue, and provides antiseptic properties to promote healing
  • Pyrogenium (Pyrogen) - acts as a general remedy for infection combined with intense restlessness
  • Latrodectus Mactans (Black Widow Spider) - for cramping abdominal pain, and to alleviate constricted chest muscles
  • Lachesis Mutus (Bushmaster) - helps avoid a tendency towards bleeding, and promotes normal blood clotting
  • Tarentula Cubensis (Cuban Tarantula) - for dizziness, trembling of extremities, puffiness and septic conditions of the blood
  • Anthracinum (Bacillus Anthracis) - avoids putrefaction of the tissue at the site of injury caused by an insect bite
  • Euphorbia Pilulifera (Pillbearing Spurge) - for pain in the limbs and weakness in the joints
  • Echinacea Angustifolia (Purple Coneflower) - for treatment of circulatory infections, and for lymphatic infection
  • Ledum Palustre (Marsh Tea) - for skin eruptions, skin discoloration, and puncture wounds due to insect bites
More treatment ideas
In addition to taking Insect Bites by Liddell, you can try the following to further assist symptom relief:
  • For severe bites or stings, consider adding Anti-Inflammatory by Liddell to your self-treatment regimen.
  • Apply an ice pack or wet compresses to the site.
  • Try to avoid further stings or bites with a natural bug repellent containing herbs and oils such as lavender, citronella, eucalyptus, and pennyroyal.
  • High doses of bioflavonoids and vitamins may reduce severity and duration of reaction.
  • B complex (50 to 100 mg a day), especially B1 (50 to 100 mg one to two times a day) and B12 (1,000 mcg a day) can also be used in prevention as a mosquito repellent.
  • Vitamin C helps reduce histamine release, resulting in a milder reaction. For severe reactions take 1,000 mg every two hours to the limit of your bowel tolerance (i.e., loose stools) which may be more than 8,000 mg a day.
For a serious allergic reaction, your health care provider will give you medication. It is helpful to rest, elevating your legs. Anaphylaxis requires immediate medical attention.
Case Studies
B. Davis, Danville, California - "I love to go camping with my children and grandchildren. In the evening, when the bugs begin to bite, my entire family lines up to take the Insect Bites spray under their tongues and topically on their bites. For our family, the swelling and itching of bites goes down in just minutes after spraying. We love this product - it keeps us happy campers!"
