PRODUCT REVIEW
Known for its sourness, the Lemon is a common name for Citrus limon and because of its tart flavor there are many lemon-flavored drinks available on the market, including the old-time favorite drink called lemonade.

Although its exact origin has remained a mystery, there has been a strong perception that lemons first grew in India, Northern Burma, and China; around AD 700 lemons were first introduced to Persia and then to Iraq and Egypt before being brought over to Europe near the southern part of Italy about the first century AD around the time of the Ancient Romans.

However, despite its early introduction to Europe, the lemon didn't become cultivated in Europe until the middle of the 15th century. In 1493, Christopher Columbus brought lemon seeds over to the island of Hispanola, thus introducing the lemon to the Americas.
