In addition, Apricot Kernel Oil is good for your heart due to its being very high in polyunsaturated fatty acid and linoleic acid. This oil is can also be used on your scalp to improve its condition.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Apricot Kernel Oil can be used on its own or with other carrier oils like Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, and Olive Oil. If you want to nourish soft and supple skin, just rub Apricot Kernel Oil all over your body on a daily basis.
You can even make a face mask formula by mixing up a soft paste of 2 drops Frankincense Essential Oil, 2 drops Rose Essential Oil, and 2 drops Neroli Essential Oil, 6 teaspoons of Apricot Kernel Oil, 1 teaspoon of clear melted honey, and finely ground almonds for a good moisturizing face mask.
For an acne fusion, you can pour an ounce of Apricot Kernel Oil, 12 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, 7 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil and a drop of Geranium Essential Oil in a clean bottle. Close the bottle tightly, roll it to mix this blend, then apply a small amount of this blend to the acne-affected area.
Always read the labels to make sure that the Apricot Kernel Oil is edible, since Apricot Kernel Oil is sometimes mixed with other ingredients for cosmetic purposes (which then cannot be consumed).

Extracted from the Apricot, whose native range is somewhat uncertain due to its extensive prehistoric cultivation even though it is most likely to have been a native to northern and western China and Central Asia (possibly including Korea and Japan as well).
Apricot Kernel Oil is cheaper than Almond Oil and is correspondingly used in cosmetics to soften your skin although it is sometimes added to genuine Almond Oil for its use in manufacturing soaps, balms, cold creams, lotions, moisturizers as well as other preparations within the perfumery industry (in fact, Apricot kernels are often used to prepare Almond Oil).
Besides its use in soaps, lotions, cold creams, balms, and moisturizers by itself, Apricot Kernel Oil is perfect as a massage oil, base oil and carrier oil in aromatherapy as well as being used for such edible purposes as a cooking or salad oil (Apricot Kernel Oil can be incorporated in many Italian dishes or drizzled on other foods).
