Spruce Essential Oil -

Our Spruce Essential Oil comes from the Balck Spruce, native to the northern region of North America that stretches from Newfoundland, west to Alaska, and south to northern New York, Minnesota, and central British Columbia. Considered one of the most important woods for paper manufacturing, Spruce is also considered quite popular as far as ornamental trees go in horiculture while its leaves, branches (even its Essential Oil) can be used to brew Spruce beer and its needle tips is used to make Spruce tip syrup.
Native Americans in the eastern North American region once used the thin, pliable roots of some Spruce species for weaving baskets as well as for sewing together pieces of Birch bark for canoes; Native Americans also used the Spruce’s sap to make a gum that was often employed for various reasons. In fact, the Spruce’s sap was the basis for the first commercial production of chewing gum. Spruce and its essential oil have often been used to treat coughing, depression, muscle pains and aches, as well as some breathing conditions (like asthma, coughing fits, and such).
SUGGESTED USAGE
You can make a bath mush to pour into the bath water to make this mush disperse by simply adding 1/4 cup of pure Aloe Vera gel, 1/4 cup of Honey, 1/4 cup of Sea or Rock Salt, 1/4 cup of Heavy Cream or Powdered Milk, 2 teaspoons of Jojoba Oil, and 5 drops of Spruce Essential Oil.
To give your home that special touch of Christmas spirit, mix together a drop of Frankincense Essential Oil, a drop of Orange Essential Oil, and a drop of Spruce Essential Oil and add this mixture in a diffuser or an aroma lamp.
Give your holiday cards a perfect gift of Christmas cheer, just place a drop of Spruce Essential Oil inside the corner of each card before mailing them or giving them out.
Mix together a nice diffuser blend for colds and flu by adding 10 drops of Spruce Essential Oil, 10 drops of Juniper Essential Oil, 10 drops of Cypress Essential Oil, and 20 drops of Ravintsara Essential Oil together and simply place this mixture in a diffuser or an aroma lamp.
