Geranium Bourbon is often used to create hormonal balance and regulate a woman's menstrual cycle as well as to relieve stress and anxiety, fluid retention, and helps one to fight cellulite.
With its magical melody of a floral aroma and a hint of mint, Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil comes from the Geranium Bourbon, a hairy perennial shrub that is often used in hedgerows to mark a boundary of an area.
It is also a great addition to both skin conditioning and facial treatments due to its antiseptic and skin regenerating properties. As an added bonus for those who go to school and like the outdoors, this oil is good to ward off mosquitoes and head lice.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Add a couple of drops of Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil in an oil burner to relieve stress and anxiety or apply 10 to 15 drops of this essential oil to an ounce of spring and distilled water in a misting bottle, shake well and spritz all over your body.
You can add 30 to 45 drops of Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil to 8 ounces of unscented liquid soap or unscented body wash and shake vigorously before using. Add and swish 9 to 10 drops of Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil in a bath tub full of hot water or simply add 12 to 15 drops of this essential oil to an ounce of carrier oil (such as Grape Seed Oil, Almond Oil, or Olive Oil) and shake to blend before applying this body oil on your body.
Although Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil is not recorded as indicating any side effects since it is non-toxic, non-irritant, and generally non-sensitizing, always dilute this and every essential oil before applying it to your skin. Keep this and other essential oils out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not ingest this oil and do not take it internally in any way. Do not use this essential oil when you are pregnant, nursing, and have any medical conditions.
