Orange Bergamot Essential Oil is made from a green to yellow pear-shaped fruit that is a cross between an orange and a grapefruit whose scent is citrusy yet fruit and sweet with a hint of a warm spicy floral bouquet often reminiscent to Neroli and Lavendar oils.
Great for creating a more relaxed and happy feeling, this oil is most widely used for depression, stress, tension, fear, hysteria, SAD (Seasonal Affected Disorder), colds, flu, respiratory problems as well as for general convalescence.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Gently wave a bottle under your nose to brighten up your mood or relax your nervous system. Add some drops of Orange Bergamot Essential Oil in your burner or vaporizer for bouts of depression, fed-up feelings, respiratory problems, PMS, colds and flu.
This essential oil is to be used only in diffusers or other air applications due to its high content of bergaptene which, in turn, becomes phototoxic and can cause severe burns when it is used on sensitive skin that is exposed to the sunlight.
Orange Bergamot Essential Oil could also block the absorption of potassium in the intestines and may affect the metabolism of many pharmaceutical drugs. Do not take this or any essential oils internally without consulting with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner. Dilute this oil properly and do not use it if you are pregnant, epileptic or have any liver damage, cancer or any other medical problem without consulting with a qualified health practitioner or aromatherapy practitioner first.
