Angelica Root Essential Oil is a delicate oil that is extracted from the root of the Angelica plant, a large so-called "fur-covered" plant with ferny leaves and umbrles of white flowers. Known as the "holy spirit root" or "oil of the angels", the Angelica root oil's healing power were considered so strong as to be believed of Divine origin by the Europeans.
A circulatory stimulant, the Angelica root's oil may be useful for poor circulation in the lower extremities in some cases. It also bears a long history of use in supporting such respiratory conditions as colds, coughs, and sinus problems while the fragrance of its essential oil may help release those negative feelings often resulted from the traumatic events that have occurred because it is emotional calming to anyone in need of this oil. Other possible uses for the Angelica root essential oil are gout, exhaustion, dull skin, toxic buildup, and water retention.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Always shake well before using the essential oil. As a dietary supplement, take 2 to 4mL (approximately 56 to 112 drops) 3 times a day in a small glass of water. Keep this and other essential oils out of the reach of children.
Even though the Angelica Root Essential Oil is non-toxic and non-irritating, it is still phototoxic and should not be applied to your skin that will be exposed to the sunlight. Avoid using this oil while you are pregnant, nursing, or have diabetes.
