Simhanad Guggulu is traditional compound used to address rheumatic conditions. According to Ayurveda, rheumatism is viewed as the body's inflammatory reaction to an excessive amount of toxins in the system. Simhanad Guggulu combines the potent cleansing ingredients of castor oil and triphala, which removes toxins from the joints, blood and GI tract. In addition, it contains anti-inflammatory agents, such as guggulu, that work to calm and sooth painful and swollen joints. This formula serves to rejuvenate the body and improve digestion, thus minimizing further production of toxins and rheumatic symptoms.

DR. CLAUDIA WELCH
 Claudia Welch is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and a practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine. She began her study of Ayurveda in 1987 under the supervision of her mentor, Dr. Robert Svoboda. She lived in India for three years, where she studied Ayurveda, Sanskrit and related subjects. Dr. Welch worked at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM with her teacher, Dr. Vasant Lad, for seven years. She has completed Hart de Fouw's Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Jyotish workshops. She received her Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in 1997.
Dr. Welch is a faculty member at The Ayurvedic Institute, Southwest Acupuncture College and at Acupractice Seminars in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Welch has lectured on Oriental and Ayurvedic medicines internationally. She has a private practice in Albuquerque.
