Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals appoints Mike Spirakis as president with a focus on operations and improved customer service -- Steve Warshak, Former President, Remains as CEO
Cincinnati, OH (September 14, 2004) – Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, Inc., a leading provider of quality nutraceuticals, today announced that Mike Spirakis will assume the position of president, effective immediately. Berkeley’s Founder Steve Warshak, who previously served as CEO & President, will remain as CEO and will be integral in product development and brand marketing. Spirakis will assume all day-to-day operational and leadership duties, with an emphasis on long-term growth and customer loyalty.
Spirakis (age 36) joined Berkeley in May of this year as chief telemarketing officer with management responsibilities in the areas of sales, customer care, data entry and compliance. Recognizing his strong leadership and business management abilities, Warshak chose to reassign oversight of the Company’s daily operations and customer service to Spirakis in a move to strengthen Berkeley and ensure sustainable growth.
“I’ve chosen to step down from my day-to-day operational, business and customer management responsibilities at Berkeley in order to assign them to Mike Spirakis who is a proven leader in this regard,” says Steve Warshak, CEO, Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals. “I will continue to do what I do well – create superior dietary supplements designed to improve the quality of our customers’ lives – but going forward these brands will be complemented by Mike’s superior leadership skills and customer service expertise.”
