PERIWINKLE (Vinca minor) Useful in the treatments of diarrhea, hemorrhage and excessive menstrual flow, due to its astringent nature. Studies have shown it to be effective for choriocarcinoma, Hodgkin's disease, and possibly other forms of abnormal cell growth. It is beneficial to help stop bleeding in the nose and mouth. For toothaches, the herb can be chewed. The tea may also be used for nervous conditions and hysteria.
