Figwort is said to have an effect on the entire body. It helps to soothe the digestive system by providing hormone-like substances into the body, and it is also cleansing to the kidneys. It can be used as an effective pain killer if nothing stronger is present. Other indications include: circulatory disorders, varicose veins, toothache, high blood pressure, and as a skin medication.  
 
For skin problems, wounds, eczema, rashes. Also soothes the digestive system and lowers blood pressure.
